Stuffed Jalapeños • Cornbread BitesMeat JalapeñosCheese & Bean JalapeñosShish Kebabs
INGREDIENTS:
• Medium Jalapeños
• One package of bacon
• 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
• Toothpicks
NOTES:
• Use rubber gloves to prevent skin irritation
• Wash Jalapeño peppers before preparation
• Cut the stems off the Jalapeños as seen below
• Use the Magic Jalapeño Corer to remove seeds and membranes

• Do not rinse inside the Jalapeños or you will experience aeration of the pepper’s acids (this causes burning of the skin and eyes)

• With a toothpick, poke a hole in the bottom of the Jalapeño (this prevents overflow of the cream cheese during cooking and allows the juices to drain from the bottom of the Jalapeño)
• Form cream cheese into the shape of a Tootsie Roll®

• Stuff the Jalapeño with the cream cheese
• Wrap one half of a bacon strip around Jalapeño
• Insert toothpick through pepper

• This toothpick will keep the bacon in place and holds the pepper in the rack
• Place Jalapeño in rack
jalapenos in oven • Place rack in oven at 350 degrees, or on grill, for 30 minutes or until bacon is completely cooked

• Place foil underneath grill to prevent flames from the bacon fat
• Remove Jalapeños from stand and serve them while they are hot
